So we all know the law of demand (I hope) so what would be worth the most and what would be worth the least? There will be no numbers here because I do not feel like writing a very long thread trying to predict the price of every officer weapon, I'll be doing that sometime in the future. I'm currently enrolled in a few econ classes at my college and I thought maybe I could apply some of that knowledge here. As basic as this knowledge might be maybe it would be cool to see what would be worth the most and least. This is how my QP table will be set up. (1-10)

P (price) goes up, Qd (quantity demanded) goes down. Qd goes up P goes down.
Pretty easy stuff. If you multiply the numbers in each row together, you get the TR (total revenue) rating. The higher the TR, the more money you will make selling that good. I will be rating the Qd of each weapon based on how how I feel how much that the weapon is currently in demand in todays market. The quantity demanded it not necessarily base solely off of how popular the weapon is, there are other variables. Let me re-iterate that these are all basically just my ideas of how much in demand certain weapons are so please don't flame me for giving something too high or low of a rating. It's just my opinion.
Light Weapons
1. Assault Rifle: Qd = 6 --> P = 5 --> TR = 30 -In today's meta, the assault rifle has seen decreased use across the board as the CR and RR have stepped into the spotlight. While in lesser use, the Assault Rifle is still seen often on the battlefield, as many people still have the skills to run them, and many people own BPO ARs. Being a front line combat weapon, users tend to die often, raising its score.The AR is a good all around weapon, but has seen lesser use, thus I gave it a Qd score of 6.
2. Combat Rifle: Qd = 8 ---> P = 3 ---> TR = 24 -The Combat Rifle has seen prolific use across the board with the launch of 1.7. Currently holding the #2 spot of FOTM, this weapon has a relatively high demand compared to other weapons. Being a new weapon, and having no BPOs available, this hurts its Qd by a bit, but not enough to warrant a drop in points, as many skilled straight into them with the vehicle SP refund of 1.7. Being a front line combat weapon, users tend to die often, raising its score. Prolific use, but shadowed by other weapons, and new, I have it at Qd of 8.
3. Rail Rifle: Qd = 9 ---> P = 2 ---> TR = 18 -The Rail Rifle currently holds the #1 spot for FOTM, everyone from heavies to scouts use this weapon. Very high demand, but this does not warrant a Qd of 10, considering that CR and other weapons are still used so this hurts of Qd of the RR a bit. Like the CR, many skilled straight into the weapon in 1.7, so this being a new weapon does not hurt its Qd by any noticeable margin. Being a mid line combat weapon, users tend to die normally, not really affecting its score. Used by almost everyone, but the CR is used almost as much, I gave it a Qd of 9
4. Scrambler Rifle: Qd = 4 ---> P = 7 ---> TR = 28 - The SCR in my opinion has been a sleeper OP for quite some time. Definitely not close to being FOTM, users of this weapon are relatively rare. I would have given it a score of 5, but while rare, users of this weapon tend to be very specialized and skilled in its operation. Because of this they die less often, which hurts its Qd score. Rare, but skilled users, I gave it a Qd of 4. Maybe in the future we will see this rise with the upcoming CR and RR nerfs.
5. Laser Rifle: Qd = 4 ---> P = 7 ---> TR = 28 - You may be wondering why I gave the LR the same Qd as the SCR. It is true that it is used less than the SCR, but because of being currently very underpowered, its users tend to die more often, raising its Qd. Also, being a weapon that has been around since the beginning, many have skills in it, which also raises its Qd. Underpowered weapon users tend to die more often, but is not used widely, giving it a Qd of 4.
6. Sniper Rifle: Qd = 3 ---> P = 8 ---> TR = 24 - The Sniper Rifle is still used very often as it is the only light weapon that offers its user the ability to engage targets from 600m away. But this very strength is the same thing that hurts its Qd. Users of the Sniper Rifle tend to die the least out of all other users. Taking advantage their range to stay alive against other targets. Many have skills in this weapon though, so that does raise its Qd by a bit. Because of this I gave it a Qd of 3.
7. Plasma Cannon: Qd = 2 ---> P = 9 ---> TR = 18 -The Plasma Cannon is arguable the least used weapon. This hurts its Qd greatly, but it is also very underpowered, so its users die very often, raising its Qd. Also, not many people are skilled into the PLC, lowering its Qd. An underpowered weapon, with few users who die a lot gives it a Qd of 2.
8. Shotgun: Qd = 5 ---> P = 6 ---> TR = 30 -Not the most popular weapon, the shotgun has few users, hurting its Qd. But users of this weapon usually run scout suits and tend to die very often. But, also not the least popular weapon, I gave it a Qd of 5.
9. Swarm Launcher: Qd = 6 ---> P = 5 ---> TR = 30 -Even though the Swarm Launcher is currently underpowered, many people are skilled into them because they used to be very good. Also, even though underpowered, because of the increase in the use of vehicles since 1.7, helps them keep a bit of their previous popularity. Although, swarm launcher user tend to die easily and often because of reduced range, and little effect against enemy infantry.
